Who am I?

Jesus once asked his disciples, "Who do you say I am?"

Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, "Who do people say I am?"
They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets."
"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" 
Peter answered, "You are the Christ." Mark 8:27-30


 The friends of Jesus were able to quickly identify Jesus.  How quickly do others identify you?  If you were to pose the question to your friends, what do you think the responses would be?  Now, if you asked God the same question, what do you think God would say about you?  God's love is so immense, and just as he said to Jesus, "Behold, this is my Son with whom I am pleased," God says the same to you for you ARE a CHILD OF GOD!  God is YOUR Father, too.


Watch this prayerful message from your Father in Heaven.  Pay attention to the Scripture verses used throughout.  Which ones strike you the most powerfully?
