We Are One is an on-line course created to look at how each individual is part of the faith community called Church. Through the course, the students will explore personal faith and individual gifts; notice the faith and gifts of others; and understand the relationships developed in a faith community which lives out the Creed of the Catholic Church.
Within this course, the students will complete a variety of activities, readings, and short assignments. There will be 2 parts (2 weeks) of posted class-time, comparable to 2 hours of class-time. All the activities can be done at the student's own time frame during the week. Each session is broken into 6-10 activity learning modules. The postings for the course this year will occur on Feb 13 and 20. Our in class session is scheduled for Sunday, March 6 at 6:30PM.
The in-class session on March 6 is mandatory for completion of the course.
Instructions for completing the on-line sessions:
1. Go to the top of page to get to an activity tab.
2. Follow the directions on that page.
3. At the bottom of each page, you will find a BLUE comment question. These questions you will answer thoughtfully as a "post comment". When you click the icon for comments, you will see a drop down choice to "comment as". Drop down to the selection that says "Name/url". A pop up window will appear with a Name block and URL block. Put your #id in the name block, leave url blank and click continue. Then post your comment.
Use your "ID number", not your name or your email!!
4. The first session should be done before the next week's posting, but if you run out of time, that is okay. However, ALL posts for both sessions need to be completed by March 3.
5. For our own security, this blog has been disabled from search engines, therefore should be limited to only those in this course. Remember to only use your ID number, not your name or any other profiles.
